How to Play Baccarat and Win
To play baccarat and win you must be familiar with the equipment used in the game. You must also have an idea about the features of a baccarat table and what each column/space means.
A standard baccarat table is divided into two main sections, the player’s section (i.e. where the players sit) and the dealer’s section. Each table accommodates about 14 players. Each player will be assigned his/her own little betting section on the table. Of course, if you are playing baccarat online it’s just you against the casino software. On the actual table, you will see three main areas. Those areas represent the betting options that you have in the game – player, banker and tie.

- Face Cards – K, Q, J, and 10s are worth 0
- Numbered cards – from 2 through 9 are worth face value
- Aces – Aces are only worth 1 point
How you add up your points to determine the value of your hand also works differently in baccarat. Baccarat hand whose total is a single number will keep that value. For example, if you have a 5+3 your hand will be valued at 8. However, if the total of your hand is double-digit then the value of your hand is determined by the second number of the total. For example, if your total is 15, the value of your hand will be 5. Similarly, if your total is 13, the value f your hand will be 3.
